Butterfly
It was a sunny and warm day, and I threw my guitar in the back seat and drove out with no destination in mind. I came across a beautiful field that looked like a postcard. I pulled over, sat down, and started strumming.
As I played, butterflies started gathering around me. It was like they were listening! One butterfly, so colorful and magnificent, landed on the log next to me and stayed as the others drifted away.
I created “Butterfly” as I sang to her, and as she left, she touched upon my guitar, as if to show me she understood. And then we both understood. It was a precious moment that I’ll never forget.”

Peace On Earth
Since my youth, I never understood violence or war. I never understood why war was considered a necessary means to an end. The cruelty and destruction are almost beyond my comprehension. This is actually the inspiration for the second half of the song.
The inspiration for the first half is because of the media. I believe the media creates ratings by instilling fear into the viewer’s mind. I was watching TV and every time I watched anything, it was political. I kept changing the channel, and still always political.
I became increasingly frustrated and upset, so much so I shouted “Shut up” and turned the TV off. The news made me very emotional about the state of the world. I was thinking why does it seem impossible for us to live in peace. But that is my desire. I immediately picked up my guitar and started playing chords. I started singing my thoughts out loud, and my song Peace On Earth was born. I hope you can identify with the emotion of my song.

Hold On
“I was thinking about the state of the world,” says Tiberi, a songwriter/performer in Westchester County, New York USA.
“The division in our own country, the violence around the world. I felt as though we were slipping away. That’s when I thought, we need to ‘Hold On.’ I realized that if we hold on together, hand in hand with a common goal, we can reach the mountaintop: a place of peace.”

Harmony Bound
Bobby Tiberi, an in-demand writer, performer, and recording artist in New York (and the Music For World Peace Records director of media relations and outreach) came aboard the project as co-writer and recording artist, adding his superb vocals and guitar to the track. In particular, Bobby excelled at performing the song at the quicker tempo he favored for the piece.
“For me, it started with the title, ‘Harmony Bound,’” says Bobby, who released three prior songs on the label (Peace On Earth, Butterfly, and Hold On), “It moved me, that we’re moving in the direction of being ‘Harmony Bound’ - the idea of getting to a place where we’re together, not just thinking of ourselves as individuals but as a whole. What a beautiful thing that would be.”
